What is an ARC Read?

An ARC (Advance Reader Copy) is an early version of a book sent to readers before its official publication date. Authors use ARCs to gather honest reviews, build word-of-mouth buzz, and prepare for launch day. At Indie Supporters Book Nook, we connect indie authors with passionate readers who are ready to read early and share their thoughts.

How Readers Join ARC Campaigns

Joining an ARC campaign is simple and completely free. Browse the open campaigns above, click Apply Now, and complete a short application form. If selected, you will receive the digital book and be asked to post a review on Amazon, Goodreads, or your preferred platform by the review deadline. There is no obligation to purchase — your review is the only thing we ask for in return.

How Authors Can Submit an ARC Campaign

Are you an indie author looking to launch your next book with a strong review base? We offer ARC management as part of our platform. Authors can submit a campaign for approval, set application windows, manage reader selection, and distribute their ebook directly through our system. Delivery to Kindle is also supported. Register as an author to get started.

Why ARC Reviews Matter for Indie Authors

Reviews are crucial for indie author visibility. Books with early review momentum rank higher in Amazon searches, attract more readers organically, and signal quality to new potential buyers. ARC readers are a vital part of the indie publishing ecosystem — they give books the social proof they need to succeed without a traditional publisher’s marketing budget. If you love supporting indie authors, becoming an ARC reader is one of the most impactful things you can do.

It is a slow-motion collision. But Henry Calloway does not belong to himself. He is a curated myth owned by the public, the press, and the industry that made him. Hell as Well ARC book cover

Hell as Well

by Becca Lynne

Fourteen-year-old Evalynn Mae has only ever known her father’s sermons and her mother’s punishments. In their strict religious household, obedience is demanded, love is conditional, and sin is punished with fire. When her secret feelings for her best friend are exposed, Evalynn becomes the center of her family’s shame—isolated, controlled, and made to believe she’s broken. Her only light is Brennan, her younger brother, whose small hand in hers gives her the strength to endure. But when the state intervenes, Evalynn is ripped from the only home she’s ever known and placed into foster care. Instead of freedom, she finds herself under the suffocating rule of the Carters, whose “perfect family” façade hides cruelty masked as kindness. She’s told when to sleep, when to eat, and even how to wash the skin she was born in. Each protest is met with dismissal, each cry for help swallowed by silence. As her new social worker investigates the past that Evalynn is too afraid to speak aloud, her parents are arrested, Brennan is kept from her, and her lifeline—Officer Jules McGillicutty—stops answering her calls. Evalynn spirals between desperation and numb obedience, caught in a world where every adult insists they know what’s best for her, while her own voice is dismissed as hysteria. Haunted by the weight of her parents’ faith, the terror of her foster home, and the guilt of believing she’s betrayed her family, Evalynn faces an impossible choice: stay silent and fade into the porcelain doll Mrs. Carter demands her to be—or risk everything by fighting for her truth, her brother, and herself. Raw, unflinching, and deeply moving, this is the story of a queer child navigating faith, control, and survival—where even broken wings can find a way to fly.

We are Stardust ARC book cover

We are Stardust

by Alexander S. Li-Timmins

Oliver Vale used to understand life at two hundred miles an hour. A semi-famous Formula One driver with two Grand Prix wins, eleven podiums, and a talent for mistaking emotional avoidance for focus, Oliver knows exactly who he is inside a cockpit. Then a meteorite strikes during the Crystal Palace Grand Prix, ending his career and leaving him to wake months later with a shaved patch on his head, a worried girlfriend, and no idea how to live without lap times. He also has an alien living inside his nervous system. It cannot control him, leave him, or survive Earth’s atmosphere. All it can do is watch, listen, taste, feel, ask wildly inappropriate questions, and learn what it means to be human through Oliver’s bruised, funny attempt at rebuilding his life. As Oliver learns how to be present for Sophie, his endlessly patient vet girlfriend, the alien discovers coffee, ducks, toothpaste, sex, Love Island, grief, laughter, and the baffling human habit of calling terrible penguins “prizes”. But when a new team offers Oliver a possible route back to Formula One, he must decide whether racing is still the only place he makes sense, or whether the life waiting outside the cockpit is the one worth fighting for. A romantic comedy about second chances, strange passengers, loud cars, quiet love, and the terrible beauty of being made from the same stardust as everything else.

Two Kings One Throne

by A.D Stevens

Zenith of Grissam never wanted a throne. He was meant for a quiet life of soil, sweat, and harvest — not gods, prophecy, or war. But when the divine Echidna Flame chooses him, everything he knows is shattered. Joined by a warrior from a distant land and a guardian of forgotten lore, Zenith must uncover the truth behind the Rysendar — three ancient weapons tied to the gods themselves. Ages ago, a god broke the world to seal away a jealous darkness. Now that darkness is waking. As kingdoms falter and legends rise, Zenith is drawn toward a throne steeped in shadow, where a tainted king and a prince long thought dead may change the fate of the world. The Jade Pandora: Two Kings, One Throne is a gripping epic fantasy of legacy, unity, and power — the first step in a journey that will change everything.

A Long Way Home: An ISS Romance

by J J Hynd

Alex thought she had outrun her old life, that was until her old life came knocking... Alexandra Peake has a problem. A few, actually. First there is her ex-husband who turned up out of the blue and is currently pounding his fist against the tiny glass window of the airlock door. Then there is the fact she is trapped on the side of the door currently venting the remains of a breathable atmosphere into the vacuum of space. Plus, she really misses her cat, Tiggie. Matthias Müller has one problem - How to save his wife. PRAISE FOR A LONG WAY HOME " It’s like someone trapped you in a sleek, slightly malfunctioning spaceship with your ex, threw in unresolved feelings and zero personal space, and said, “Good luck, babe.” And honestly? I ate it up." - Ali Evers, author of Taken by the Wisps " If you're looking for something that blends the best of romance and sci-fi, and with more on the horizon, then make sure you check out A Long Way Home! (Did I mention there's some zero-G spice?" - SM Campbell, author of The Widow's Monster I loved this book. It took me back to that nostalgic feeling of being a kid & watching Star Trek: Voyager but an adult version with that nice bit of outer space spice. The sci-fi side of this was incredible. I really loved the artwork that accompanied the book as it really brought the space station to life, immersing me straight into the story & the characters’ emotions. I really enjoyed having the crew list at the start of the book & the use of the different languages within the book, it was a really fun & very clever addition. This is sci-fi, second chance vibes. There’s a little love triangle, but not really. Unlikely friendships that give a found family feeling. A life or death situation that brings certain characters clarity, & there’s definitely some ‘Oh Shit!’ moments which I loved! Even the cliffhanger leaves you wanting more. --Reviewer A LONG WAY HOME is the first instalment in the ISS Romance series, which is a series of interconnected standalones.
